Job summary

Candela is the global leader in electric hydrofoil vessels. We are looking for Junior Boat builders for our Composite area to support Candela’s future growth ambitions at Rotebro, Sweden. You will work hands-on on building boats, mounting hardware, laminating and finishing composite parts.

You should communicate in English daily, be comfortable with power and hand tools, and be eager to learn about carbon fiber. This full-time role starts ASAP with a six-month probation.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English daily.
• Experience with tools and maintaining them.
• High interest in carbon fiber and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and instructions.
• Attention to detail and high-quality standards.
• Able to work with PPE in dusty/chemical environments.
• Stand for long periods and work hands-on in tight spaces.
• Experience from production/workshop setting preferred.
• Experience from boating industry preferred.
• Experience with workshop tools such as trimming tools and saws preferred.
• Experience with composite materials beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on boat building: mounting hardware, trimming, laminating, assembling composite parts.
• Choose composite materials based on project requirements.
• Maintain equipment, molds, and tools.
• Inspect components to meet specifications and delivery targets.
• Document work according to company guidelines.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Work in an international environment with English as corporate language.
