The candidate will contribute to backend services, REST APIs, authentication, authorisation, and distributed architectures while collaborating across teams and documenting architectural decisions.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience with Java and JVM internals.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents and agent orchestration.
• Experience building scalable REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of data stores and caching technologies (Cassandra, Redis, Memcached).
• CI/CD, automated testing, and container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer with deep Java expertise and practical AI experience, particularly in Agentic AI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, reliable production systems and integrating AI-driven solutions.

Key Qualifications

• Java: Typically 5+ years of experience, with deep knowledge of JVM internals, memory management, garbage collection, concurrency, virtual threads, and performance tuning.
• AI & Agentic AI: Practical experience with AI technologies, particularly AI agents, agent orchestration, tool integration, and AI-powered applications.
• Backend & Distributed Systems: Experience building scalable customer-facing services, REST APIs, authentication, authorisation, and distributed systems.
• Data & Caching: Knowledge of Cassandra, Redis, Memcached, or similar technologies.
• DevOps & Testing: Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, GitHub, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation and architectural discussions.

Contract: Initial 12 months
