Job summary

AFRY is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Lead to evolve sourcing, vendor management and strategic technology partnerships across a global organization. The role is based in Solna with a hybrid office/remote arrangement.

You will work at the intersection of business, technology and commercial management, driving supplier relationships, negotiations and governance to support AFRY's digital ambitions and long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing, vendor management or commercial management within a complex organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading commercial discussions and supplier negotiations.
• Ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations and actions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; Swedish is considered an advantage.

• Evolve AFRY's sourcing and vendor management practices, governance and operating model.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and supplier selection processes.
• Drive commercial negotiations, contract renewals and supplier discussions.
• Manage relationships with key technology and service providers.
• Establish performance management and follow-up models for strategic suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, service quality and business value.
• Create transparency around supplier performance, commercial outcomes and spend.
• Support digital and transformation initiatives through effective sourcing and partner management.
• Ensure sourcing decisions address information security, data privacy, IP rights and responsible use of data and AI-enabled technologies.
• Evaluate commercial, pricing and contractual models to balance business value, cost efficiency and risk.
• Advise stakeholders on sourcing-related opportunities, risks and decisions.

AFRY is looking for an experienced and driven IT Sourcing Lead to help evolve our sourcing and vendor management capabilities across a global organization.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of business, technology and commercial management, ensuring that sourcing decisions, supplier relationships and partner ecosystems support AFRY's strategic priorities, digital ambitions and long-term business goals.

You will collaborate closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders and key suppliers, driving initiatives that strengthen performance, improve cost efficiency and maximize value from our technology investments.

The position is located at our Solna office, with the possibility to combine office and remote work.

What you will do

As IT Sourcing Lead, you will play a key role in developing and continuously improving how AFRY works with sourcing, commercial management and strategic technology partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evolve AFRY's sourcing and vendor management practices, governance and operating model.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and supplier selection processes.
• Drive commercial negotiations, contract renewals and supplier discussions.

Qualifications

Who you are: You are a commercially minded and analytical professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and driving tangible business outcomes. You combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach and are comfortable working across organizational boundaries, influencing stakeholders and leading initiatives from idea to execution.

You likely have experience within one or more of the following areas:

• Management consulting
• Procurement or commercial management
• Digital transformation

What you bring:

• Experience in sourcing, vendor management or commercial management within a complex organization.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience leading commercial discussions and supplier negotiations.
• Ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations and actions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English. Swedish is considered an advantage.
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.
