Job summary

Kjell & Company is seeking an IT Operations Technician to support on-prem and cloud infrastructure across our Nordic stores. You will manage servers, networking, and identity services while ensuring system stability and security.

Travel to group locations and support for new store openings are part of the role. Strong knowledge of Windows, MS 365, Entra ID/AD and Swedish/English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure in business-critical environments.
• Hands-on experience with servers, networking, and infrastructure operations.
• Familiarity with virtualization, storage solutions, and distributed IT environments.
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID / Active Directory.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintain on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including WAN/LAN, firewalls, switches, and access points.
• Ensure infrastructure stability through monitoring, patching, system health checks, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Manage hardware and infrastructure lifecycle, including installation, upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Handle operational incidents and coordinate escalations with external vendors when required.
• Provide hands-on onsite and remote IT support, including support for new store openings, relocations, asset handling, documentation, and travel to Group locations.

IT Operations Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supporting on‑prem server, storage, cloud, and network environments, including WAN/LAN, firewalls, switches, and access points.
• Ensuring infrastructure stability through daily monitoring, patching, system health checks, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Managing the hardware and infrastructure lifecycle, including installation, upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Handling operational incidents and troubleshooting, coordinating escalations with external vendors when required.
• Supporting platform and identity services such as DNS, domains, certificates, Entra ID / Active Directory, and endpoint management platforms.
• Providing hands‑on onsite and remote IT support, including support for new store openings, relocations, asset handling, documentation, and travel to Group locations.

Qualifications

• Relevant education within IT or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure within business‑critical environments.
• Hands‑on experience with servers, networking, and infrastructure operations.
• Familiarity with virtualization, storage solutions, and distributed IT environments.
• Experience working with Microsoft platforms such as Windows, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID / Active Directory.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Additional Information
