A leading technology solutions company based in Malmö is seeking an experienced Embedded Linux OS Developer to join their team. This role involves developing a Yocto-based embedded Linux OS for a new sensor gateway platform, with responsibilities including remote update functionality and IoT gateway architecture implementation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in embedded Linux systems, remote management capabilities, and collaboration skills. Competitive compensation is offered for this onsite position in Sweden.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with Yocto Project for building custom embedded Linux distributions.
• Experience with remote update frameworks preferred.
• Proven experience designing and implementing industrial IoT gateway solutions.

Responsabilités

• Develop and configure a Yocto-based embedded Linux OS for the target hardware.
• Implement remote update functionality and integrate with remote update infrastructure.
• Design and implement remote management capabilities.
• Develop gateway/proxy functionality for sensor remote updates.
• Perform bring-up of existing sensor communication software on new hardware.
• Collaborate with device software team on communication protocol implementation.
• Support integration of Python-based applications from current gateway platform.
