Job summary

A leading automotive engineering firm is seeking an Automotive Test Engineer for their expanding presence in Gothenburg, Sweden. This role involves testing and validating infotainment and connected vehicle systems, using both manual and automated approaches. Candidates should have a strong interest in automotive testing, familiarity with HMI and UX systems, and experience with test automation frameworks. Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in automotive testing and infotainment systems.
• Knowledge of HMI and UX systems.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Python, Pytest, Robot Framework).
• Familiarity with automotive testing tools.
• ISTQB certification or testing knowledge is beneficial.
• Valid work permit for Sweden.
• Valid B driving license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate infotainment, HMI & UX systems.
• Perform scenario-based, system, and exploratory testing.
• Execute and analyze test cases on vehicle and system levels.
• Work with test automation where applicable.
• Analyze logs and faults using testing tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
