Job summary

Essity is seeking an Information Architect to shape how data is modeled and consumed across our platforms. You will design robust data models, build semantic layers for analytics, and ensure data quality across systems while collaborating with data engineers and analytics teams worldwide.

You will translate business needs into scalable data structures, contribute to knowledge graphs, and work with Databricks, Azure, Fabric, Airflow and Purview to enable reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in data modeling and information modeling with semantic layers.
• Experience in data engineering or analytics environments.
• Strong understanding of data quality and data structures/relationships.
• Background as a data engineer or close collaboration with data engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Azure, Fabric, Airflow and Purview.
• Excellent analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to translate business needs into clear data structures.

About The Role

As an Information Architect, you will focus on designing and improving how data is structured and used within our data platforms. You will work closely with data engineers and analytics teams to ensure that data is well-organized, consistent, and ready to support business use cases, contributing directly to scalable and reliable data solutions. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Information Management and works closely with stakeholders across the Globe, including colleagues in Portugal, Germany, and Sweden.

What You Will Do

• Design and maintain data models and information models.
