Job summary

Vattenfall seeks an IBM Controller Administrator to ensure stable, accurate, and compliant group consolidation and financial reporting across Europe. The role blends hands-on system administration with deep accounting expertise and support during period-end closing.

Based in Sweden (Solna/Stockholm area), the position collaborates closely with Group Accounting, Tax, IT, and Finance Shared Services. You will contribute to improvements in efficiency, data quality, and system performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with IBM Controller.
• A solid background in accounting, ideally in group or corporate accounting.
• Experience with group consolidation and closing processes.
• Confidence working with financial systems and structured data.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as administrator for IBM Controller, ensuring stable and compliant operation and enabling reliable and transparent financial reporting.
• Configure and maintain consolidation structures, master data and system settings.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Manage user access and authorisations, ensuring security and compliance with internal controls.
• Work closely with Group Accounting, Tax, IT and reporting units.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency, data quality and system performance.
