Job summary

Clavister is seeking a Product Owner to lead a cross-functional Java team responsible for authentication, identity management and digital signing products. You will own the backlog, contribute to the IAM portfolio vision, and guide delivery across Product, Engineering, Architecture and Security.

You should have hands-on software leadership, be comfortable with Java, and balance new capabilities with security, privacy and quality while advocating modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing software product teams.
• Proven backlog ownership and agile delivery experience.
• Hands-on software engineering or architecture background.
• Comfort discussing Java and enterprise backend systems.
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers on discovery and roadmap.
• Knowledge of IAM, authentication and signing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a cross-functional Java team, focusing on people leadership and delivery practices.
• Contribute customer, delivery and team perspectives to the Product Manager's vision and roadmap.
• Own and prioritize the backlog based on product direction and security requirements.
• Translate roadmap objectives into clear outcomes and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and IAM specialists on design and integrations.
• Balance new capabilities with technical debt, cybersecurity, and quality.
• Drive delivery from refinement through testing and operational follow-up.
• Promote modern engineering practices including CI/CD and test automation.
• Recruit, coach and mentor team members and foster knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate dependencies and expectations across stakeholders.
