Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a skilled electrician to join our HVDC test facility team in Sweden. You will perform electrical work, ensure safety, and manage electrical/optical connections in our test setups, while also contributing to control and protection system testing for HVDC systems.

You will be part of a development team and have opportunities to work abroad within a global company. Fluency in English is required, Swedish is a plus, and previous electrician experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High school education as electrician or similar.
• Previous work as an electrician is required.
• Fluent in English; Swedish language skills are a plus.
• Interested in technical solutions and eager to learn new things.
• Team player with an open mindset and hands-on learning approach.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical work and electrical safety in assigned project in our test facility.
• You will be part of a project team that makes all electrical and optical connections in our test facilities.
• You will be testing the control and protection system for our HVDC systems.
• You will be part of our development as a team but also your individual development.
• Since we are a global company, we offer the opportunity to work abroad.
