Hitachi Energy in Ludvika seeks a Control & Protection Software Design Engineer to support energy transmission technology. You will be involved in all delivery phases, including design and testing of HVDC control systems.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and has experience in Control & Protection Design, along with strong English skills. This position offers flexible working options and a collaborative environment focused on innovative technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree within the relevant technical area.
• Previous experience working with Control & Protection Design.
• Interest or skills in industrial application development and programming.
• Experience in design and testing of control system.
• Fluency in English is required, Swedish beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintenance, testing, integration, verification, and deployment of the HVDC control & protection application functions.
• Documentation and customer training.
• Plan and organize daily work, solve challenges.
