Job summary

Moleculent in Stockholm is looking for a Lab Technician to support Applications and Fee-for-Service operations. You will manage sample handling, conduct assays, and ensure high-quality data through rigorous laboratory practices.

The ideal candidate has a BSc in Molecular Biology or related fields, fluent in English, and possesses experience in a laboratory setting, particularly in histology and sample handling. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Experience working in a molecular biology, histology, or related laboratory environment.
• Experience with FFPE sample handling, immunofluorescence, or similar workflows is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for experiments by organizing workspaces and confirming sample lists.
• Receive, handle, track, and store FFPE tissue samples according to SOPs.
• Perform experimental workflows using prepared assay kits and standardized protocols.
• Execute tissue staining and multiplex in situ assay workflows.
• Perform assay quality control checks and document experimental procedures.

Skills

Hands-on experience with tissue preparation

Familiarity with laboratory imaging systems

Experience with quality control procedures

Education

BSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences
