Job summary

ALTEN in Sweden is seeking a Rig Development Engineer to join our expanding HIL rig team in Göteborg. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain HIL/SIL test rigs, ensuring robust solutions for the automotive and embedded systems industries.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing tools like Vector CANoe and scripting in C#/Python. We're looking for a proactive engineer with experience in test automation and a solid understanding of communication protocols.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Proven background in HIL/SIL test environments.
• Hands-on experience with test rig construction and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain HIL/SIL test rigs from concept to operation.
• Develop automated test scripts using CAPL, C#, and Python.
• Configure and simulate bus communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) with Vector CANoe.
