Job summary

Saab in Gothenburg seeks a Head of Specialty Engineering and Sub System Design GxA to lead the unit and coach three engineering managers toward strategic aims and operational excellence. Security vetting may apply, and you will drive high‑level engineering initiatives for radar sensor systems.

You will guide Development of High Frequency Function, Information Assurance and Environmental Engineering, collaborate across Product Units, and advance ways of working to deliver world‑class surface

Qualifications

Management experience from design and change management.
Genuine interest in complex technical product development and cooperation across sites.

Communicative, transparent, structured and performance driven ways of working.
Appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification in a business oriented or technical discipline.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the GxA Specialty Engineering and Sub System Design unit.
Continuously improve ways of working.
Influence and contribute to the development and improvement of the Giraffe xA product portfolio.
Have a close cooperation with other Product Units, Business Units and Business Areas within Saab Surveillance.
