Capgemini in Sweden is seeking a Guidewire Engineer to configure and develop Guidewire solutions across PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter for insurance clients, delivering scalable platform implementations within a technology-driven transformation.

This role emphasizes translating business needs into technical solutions, collaborating with analysts, leads and delivery teams, and supporting release and testing activities to ensure high-quality delivery. Swedish language proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Guidewire configuration experience, especially PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Insurance domain knowledge, preferably Property & Casualty.
• Experience with SQL, databases and admin data loading.
• Agile/Scrum experience; CSM certification is beneficial.
• Understanding of policy transactions, underwriting rules and LOB configuration.

Responsibilities

• Developing and configuring Guidewire applications to deliver scalable insurance solutions.
• Translating business requirements into clear technical solutions with analysts and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with leads, managers and delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Troubleshooting production issues, root cause analysis and resolving challenges.
• Supporting release activities, code merges and testing to maintain quality delivery.
