Job summary

Havator AB in Gothenburg is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join their Nordic engineering team. This position offers the chance to grow into a full Project Engineer role, participating in complex heavy lift and transport operations from day one.

In this role, you will develop lift plans, collaborate with various teams, and produce CAD-based engineering documentation. You will gain hands-on experience in an industry where your contributions truly matter.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, is fluent in Swedish and English, and has an interest in heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering or similar.
• Interest in heavy machinery, transport, or lifting operations.
• Experience with Autodesk tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop lift plans, transport plans, and engineering documentation.
• Identify technically sound and cost-effective solutions for complex operations.
• Produce CAD-based plans and review calculations.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments.

What you will be doing

You will play a key role in supporting safe and efficient project delivery by:

• Developing lift plans, transport plans, and engineering documentation
• Identifying technically sound and cost-effective solutions for complex operations
  Collaborating closely with Sales, Project Managers, and engineering colleagues
• Producing CAD-based plans and reviewing calculations
• Preparing method statements and risk assessments
• Visiting project sites to understand conditions and challenges
• Building a deep understanding of Havator’s equipment and capabilities

What we are looking for
