Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is offering a Graduate Electrical Engineer position on a site in Italy.

The role provides hands-on experience in design, installation and commissioning of electrical systems on large-scale projects, with exposure to power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and building services. The programme is designed to develop engineers through mentorship, involvement in site activities, and collaboration with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers, while emphasising health

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or related).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and building services.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• MS Office proficiency; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or electrical design software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordination of electrical works on site.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Support site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with standards.
• Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical queries.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and electrical codes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including test reports and quality records.
• Assist in commissioning activities and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Contribute to risk assessments and method statements for electrical works.

About the Role

Currently we have a few remaining Graduate Electrical Engineers for our site in Italy (you must speak fluent Italian). You will gain hands‑on experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems on large‑scale projects. This role offers exposure to all aspects of electrical engineering within the construction industry, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and building services.
