Job summary

Acast is seeking a Tax Accounting Manager to build and lead our first dedicated tax and treasury function. You will design workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and support an expanding international footprint with a hands-on approach.

You will own group tax matters, collaborate with accounting, controlling, legal and international subsidiaries, and serve as the main contact for tax authorities and external advisors.

Qualifications

• At least five years of tax experience within an international group.
• Strong understanding of direct and indirect taxation with international exposure.
• Comfortable with financial close processes and translating tax matters into accounting entries.
• Experience with liquidity planning and financial analysis is an advantage.
• Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
• Experience with NetSuite is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure VAT and indirect tax handling globally.
• Reconcile tax accounts in the general ledger with filed returns and authority decisions.
• Prepare and file corporate income tax returns for parent and subsidiaries.
• Own the group's Transfer Pricing documentation and intercompany policies.
• Act as primary contact for tax audits and inquiries to Swedish Tax Agency and foreign authorities.
• Monitor regulatory developments in international tax and assess impact on the business.
• Advise on tax matters for commercial agreements and transactions with international stakeholders.
• Provide tax input when establishing new subsidiaries or offices abroad.
• Take responsibility for daily liquidity planning and cash management.
• Manage currency risk and establish related procedures.
• Develop treasury processes and automation with strong internal controls.
• Support banking relationships and capital-related matters with Accounting Director.
• Deliver clear liquidity and risk reporting to Finance and management.
• Collaborate with Global Director Accounting and Finance on capital structures and financing decisions.
