Job summary

Avalanche Studios Group is seeking a Release Manager to own multi-platform launches from start to finish for The Hunter: Call of the Wild. The Stockholm office operates a hybrid model, with in-office days Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to foster collaboration.

You will manage submissions on major platforms and coordinate with localization, marketing and dev teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases. Ideal candidates have a background in release management, strong knowledge of first-party

Qualifications

• Background in Release Management
• -
• Experience with first-party submission and delivery processes
• -
• Familiar with first-party dev portals (Steam, EGS, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo)
• -
• Knowledge of TRCs, XRs, lotcheck etc
• -
• Strong communication skills; comfortable handling conversational opposition
• -
• Proactive and ownership of releases
• -
• Highly organized with a solution oriented mindset
• -
• Ability to work as a team player and also independently
• -
• Level-headed when things get dicey
• -
• Demonstrate proficiency in learning new technical skill sets
• -
• Comfortable with moving between routine tasks and completely new ones as well as multitasking with a mix of the two

• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, ASANA, MIRO and MS Excel
• -
• Knowledge of GDPR and related guidelines
• -
• Previous Live Service games experience as Release Manager/QA/Producer

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute submissions on first-party platforms (Sony, Microsoft, Steam, Epic Games Store, Nintendo)
• -
• Provide expert advice on platform compliance, best practices, and opportunities
• -
• Develop, track, and maintain release plans with game leads and product owners
• -
• Act as primary liaison between development teams and first-party partners
• -
• Coordinate with Localization, User Research, Marketing, Dev to ensure timely releases
• -
• Serve as main technical contact for first-party partners
• -
• Coordinate feature approvals with first-party platforms
• -
• Handle age rating certification and submissions to Global Age Rating Boards
