Job summary

Mölnlycke is seeking a Global Market Development Manager to drive an innovation agenda beyond core solutions, shaping new categories and formats across geographies. You will lead a cross‑functional team, translate insights into strategies, and ensure alignment with global marketing goals.

The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution, leveraging a mix of regulatory awareness and consumer‑facing propositions to accelerate growth in OTC and retail environments.

Qualifications

• Experience creating greenfield market development plans for new market entry opportunities.
• Degree in Marketing, Business or similar field.
• Experience navigating regulatory, compliance and quality environments while driving commercial innovation and growth.
• Proven global marketing leadership with local market execution experience.
• Deep expertise in strategy, market insights, product lifecycle, and go-to-market.
• Experience translating clinical, technical, or regulatory constraints into viable OTC, retail, or consumer-facing propositions.
• Demonstrates ability to think beyond current market needs and collaborate with markets to shape feasible, high-impact go-to-market strategies.
• Experience developing retail-ready value propositions, including pricing, packaging, assortment, and go-to-market strategies across geographies.
• Thrive in uncertain, fast-evolving environments with limited precedent or established playbooks.
• Demonstrated ability to make progress without perfect data, adapting direction as new insights emerge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in a defined care setting, channel, or strategic theme.
• Lead discovery of new routes to market beyond traditional healthcare channels (including mass retail, pharmacy, e‑commerce and emerging consumer‑health models).
• Develop future‑ready commercial and pricing models suited to OTC and retail environments, balancing accessibility, value perception, and sustainable margin across geographies.
• Translate unmet consumer, shopper, and retailer pain points into a forward‑looking innovation agenda, identifying opportunities for new categories, propositions, and formats.
• Prioritise initiatives using a fail-fast, test‑and‑learn approach with cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate across Global Marketing to align strategy and translate priorities into a balanced portfolio roadmap.
• Generate and share insights on macro trends, channel shifts, and competitors to inform strategic planning.

• Clear experience creating greenfield market development plans ofr new market entry opportunities
• Educated to degree level, ideally within Marketing, Business or similar field
• Demonstrated success navigating complex regulatory, compliance, and quality environments while driving commercial innovation and growth
