Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large HVDC upgrade projects worldwide. You will own scope, schedule, budget and risk, guiding multidisciplinary teams across geographies while maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships.

You will drive contract negotiations, variation orders and cost control, ensuring governance and safety standards are met while delivering critical energy infrastructure on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience leading large HVDC/energy transmission projects on EP or EPC.
• Proven track record managing budget, schedule and customer relationships.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary, international project teams.
• Solid commercial understanding with contract and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in English; HVDC/power infra experience valued; PMP/PRINCE2/IPMA merit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful execution of large and complex HVDC upgrade projects on time and within budget.
• Establish and motivate multidisciplinary teams across functions and geographies.
• Own project scope, schedule, financials, resources and risk across the lifecycle.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Drive contract negotiations, variation orders and commercial discussions with stakeholders.
• Ensure governance by identifying opportunities and mitigating risks with health, safety, and environment in mind.
