Incluso seeks a Geometry, Tolerance & Clamping Specialist for a global automotive program in Gothenburg (Torslanda). The role is 100% onsite and starts ASAP, initially a 1.5-month contract with potential extensions.

You will lead geometry-assurance activities, define datum systems, perform tolerance analyses and coordinate with engineering, metrology and suppliers to ensure dimensional robustness across battery assembly processes.

Aufgaben

• Translate product characteristics into measurable CTQs and fixture requirements.
• Review product, process and equipment concepts for dimensional feasibility and robustness.
• Coordinate with product engineering, metrology, tooling, joining and equipment suppliers.
• Define measurement, correlation, capability and buy-off strategies.
• Lead dimensional problem solving, root-cause analysis and corrective-action verification.

We are looking for a Geometry, Tolerance & Clamping Specialist for a global automotive company in Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 1,5 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg (Torslanda).

Assignment Overview

The assignment is within Manufacturing Engineering supports the industrialization of advanced High Voltage Battery Assembly systems for Battery Electric Vehicles.

The work is performed in a cross-functional engineering environment covering manufacturing processes, automated production equipment, product-to-process interfaces, quality assurance and supplier collaboration.

The consultant will secure dimensional robustness across product, tooling and manufacturing interfaces by defining datum, tolerance, locating, clamping and measurement strategies for High Voltage Battery Assembly. The objective is consistent dimensional quality and stable assembly conditions in automated production.

Preferred Competencies

• High Voltage Battery Assembly geometry experience.
• RD&T, 3DCS, CETOL, VSA or equivalent variation-analysis tools.
• CMM, scanning, vision or inline metrology.
• Joining-process effects, thermal distortion and compliant assembly.
• Supplier fixture correlation and automotive production launch.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience relevant to the assignment.

Experience Required

Senior-level industrialization experience in automotive, battery manufacturing, electrification or comparable high-volume automated production. The consultant should be able to work independently, own technical deliverables and collaborate effectively with engineering teams and equipment suppliers.
