Job summary

NetEnt is seeking an experienced Game Designer to help shape the next generation of slot experiences at our Stockholm studio. You will collaborate with product, design, and development teams to craft engaging mechanics and visuals that resonate with players across markets.

You will lead concept development, ensure the game vision is well understood, and oversee backlog, timelines and quality. This role is based on-site in Stockholm, Sweden, with a dynamic, international team and a strong focus

Qualifications

• You have previous experience in designing games
• You have a deep understanding of analysing products and to create a product that stand out in the market
• You have a passion and interest in understanding the gaming industry, products, and competitors
• You are passionate about designing the best game experience out there
• You are creative, solutions oriented and want to push the limits of what a product can be
• You have a good understanding of how to guide the team in everything from the right prioritization to how they work in an efficient way and.
• You can work on a team level as well as on a studio level, taking the bigger picture into account
• You have experience from the iGaming or games industry is highly appreciated.
• You are an excellent communicator and coordinator
• You are highly proficient in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• You will be working with the product organization to develop games and game products with the studio.
• You will be ensuring that vision of the game is clear for the team and is delivered in time and with high-quality.
• You will be the person responsible for the production team’s backlog and making sure that the game product covers all functional, compliance and different markets requirements.
• You will also work together with the product organization to ensure the overall quality of the product is improved throughout the organization
• Create game concepts from a mechanical and visual standpoint.
• Making sure that product vision is well understood by the team and helps in making daily decisions to deliver the best product possible.
• Create ancillary gaming products that elevate the game experience.
• Secure successful outcome for our new game productions’ goal and objectives.
• Continuously align with the product organization on the roadmap deliveries and product.
• Plan teamwork based on the game scope defined by you and the team
• Communicate with sales and marketing organizations as well as our operators and players to push the games and NetEnt forward.

NetEnt is looking for an experienced all round Game Designer with strong opinions on what players want and what is fun. You are an excellent communicator and coordinator, who continuously wants to improve the product. You have passion and interest in understanding the gaming industry, products, and competitors. You want to design the best game experience out there, that kicks ass with any other top game in the market.

As a Slot Product Owner at NetEnt, you will be responsible for managing development of new game products in line with our game metrics and roadmap goals. You will oversee all aspects of the game’s development, delivery and required governance.
