Job summary

Snowprint Studios in Stockholm is looking for an experienced backend developer fluent in Kotlin and/or Java. You’ll own feature development and support live backend services hosted on AWS, shaping gameplay with stable, scalable systems.

In a hybrid studio at Södermalm, you’ll join cross-disciplinary teams, work from the office on Tuesdays and Fridays, and collaborate to deliver player-centric experiences while improving technology and processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Kotlin and/or Java as backend languages.
• Hands-on experience with live backend services.
• Experience operating cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop new game features and support backend systems and tooling.
• Own planning, implementation, testing, and live operations of your areas.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve systems for future needs.
• Collaborate with teammates to shape scalable technical solutions.
