Siemens Energy Finspång is seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to drive safety across our gas and steam turbine modernization projects. You will lead functional safety analyses and ensure safety requirements are integrated into service project deliveries in a hybrid work setting.

Join us in shaping the future of energy! As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our existing gas and steam turbine fleet. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for conducting functional safety analyses and implementing safety measures in modernization and upgrade projects for our gas and steam turbine fleet. In this fast-evolving energy landscape, you will tackle challenges related to safety compliance and risk management, driving innovative solutions to enhance fleet safety. Collaborating closely with various departments, you will engage in delivery projects, develop safety documentation, and support existing products, all while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. Our team is composed of eleven dedicated development and project engineers specializing in the instrumentation and control aspects of gas and steam turbine packages. We focus on creating standardized solutions for modernization and upgrade projects and are responsible for functional safety topics in delivery projects. With expertise in control systems, electrical engineering, instrumentation, cybersecurity, and functional safety, we support ongoing R&D projects and are responsible for sustaining all active products related to package instruments and controls.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
