We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to combine strong product taste and UX judgement with AI-native engineering to ship production‑quality software for the UniFi Fabrics platform, Ubiquiti's license‑free, multi‑site network management system.

Responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end software solutions for UniFi Fabrics, Ubiquiti's license‑free, multi‑site network management system, that spans frontend workflows, backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, identity, permissions, provisioning, orchestration, observability, and admin experiences.
• Identify high‑impact opportunities by understanding user needs, operational pain points, and product gaps and turning such opportunities into better software services.
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate multi‑file implementation, testing, refactoring, documentation, debugging, and iteration while keeping strong engineering judgment.
• Collaborate closely with PMs, UX/UI designers, frontend developers, backend developers, mobile developers, cloud teams, QA/AQA, and DevOps across Ubiquiti to deliver complete product experiences.
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable, scalable, maintainable, cloud‑native, and aligned with UniFi Fabrics platform requirements.
• Continuously improve agentic engineering workflows, including spec‑driven development, AI‑assisted coding, test generation, code review, production readiness, and release confidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
• Strong ability to build and ship production software using Golang or TypeScript.
• Strong product taste and UX judgement: able to simplify complex admin/user workflows, reason from user problems, propose practical wireframes, and make tradeoffs.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs, backend services, data models, integrations, distributed systems, cloud‑native applications, or workflow migrations.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, debugging, security, and production operations.
• Proficiency with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent AI coding agents.
• Experience with AI‑native development practices such as spec‑driven development, prompt/context engineering, agentic coding workflows, AI‑assisted testing, debugging, and code review.
• High ownership under ambiguity, clear communication, and strong problem‑solving skills in ambiguous product and technical environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience building enterprise software or identity systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, containers, serverless architecture, event‑driven systems, RDBMS, NoSQL, or message queues.
• Knowledge of IAM, OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, RBAC, audit logs, compliance, Zero Trust, provisioning, orchestration, admin/user lifecycle, or secure enterprise workflows.
• Founder, early startup engineer, product engineer, or 0‑to‑1 builder experience is a strong plus.
