Job summary

Hexagon is looking for a passionate front-end developer based in Stockholm, Sweden. The role involves building and maintaining modern responsive front-ends using React & React Native, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating sketches into high-fidelity designs in Figma.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in front-end development, is proficient in React, and has a strong design eye. Candidates with a passion for adventure sports are particularly welcome!

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain modern, responsive front-ends using React & React Native
• Be part of the concept development and vision team.
• Translate development sketches to high-fidelity designs in Figma and to polished client-facing products build in react.
• Collaborate closely with business developers, back-end devs, technical engineers, geospatial specialists, product managers and AI developers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Help improve our front-end architecture, tooling, and best practices.
• Constantly grow your personal toolset and abilities.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of front-end development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong experience working with Figma and design systems
• Understanding of backend systems a plus
• Excellent design eye and understanding of user-driven design
• Proven ability to take ownership of features and drive them from concept to delivery
• Understanding of client-driven business solutions
• A proactive, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English; Portuguese a plus
• A passion for surfing, skating, snowboarding, sailing, sking and/or adventure travel is a plus!
