Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to Gothenburg, working on a client project in the automotive sector. You will contribute to the full service lifecycle from content creation to workshop usage and customer servicing experience.

You will design backend services in Java/Spring Boot, expose REST and GraphQL, and build React/TypeScript frontend components within a microfrontend architecture. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong testing mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience building backend services with Java and Spring Boot, microservices focus.
• Event-driven architecture with Kafka and asynchronous services.
• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript in a microfrontend setup.
• Ability to define boundaries and integrate independently deployable modules.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and choosing appropriate ones.
• Strong testing mindset: automated tests and CI/CD quality gates.
• Curiosity about AI-assisted engineering and generative AI tools.
• Excellent communication to translate user needs into prioritized work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Expose services through REST APIs and GraphQL Federation.
• Build and operate event-driven services using Kafka.
• Develop React and TypeScript applications within a microfrontend architecture.
• Define boundaries between independently deployable frontend modules.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases as project demands.
• Deploy services to Kubernetes using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Monitor and improve service behavior with Grafana.
