Job summary

Ingrid is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Platforms team, focusing on the Cloud, Data, and Applications platforms. You will work across the full stack, delivering fast, scalable services that power real-time trading decisions and grid optimization.

You will own backend in Python with FastAPI and Pydantic, frontend in TypeScript/React, and collaborate with traders and asset operators. The role offers hands-on ownership, rapid impact, and opportunities to shape the platform’s future.

Qualifications

• Solid Python experience with production services and modern tooling (FastAPI, type-safe patterns).
• Frontend experience with TypeScript/React for external users and internal tooling.
• Cloud platform experience (GCP or similar) with CI/CD, containerisation (Docker), and production deployment/monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Apply your skills to one of our key domains: Optimization & Trade, Delivery & Steering, or Partner Experience Platform, and grow with it as we scale.
• Design, build and maintain production-grade services across the stack: Backend in Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLModel/SQLAlchemy) and frontend in TypeScript, React and Node.js, deployed as containerised microservices in the cloud.
• Build interfaces where the platform meets its users: traders, asset operators and partners with a well-structured UI on live data.
• Contribute to API design, architecture and the tech roadmap with RESTful and event-driven patterns, with security and observability built in from the start.
