Job summary

Zendr is hiring a horough fullstack engineer to design, build, and own features across the stack. You will leverage TypeScript, Node.js, and Express, shaping scalable backend services and REST APIs while collaborating with frontend teams to deliver polished user experiences.

You will work within a modern tech stack, own parts of the platform, contribute to code quality, and participate in CI/CD and testing practices to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• A completed three-year bachelor's degree or a five-year master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Science or a related technical field
• At least 4 years of professional software development experience
• Recent, hands-on experience building and owning backend services in a typed language — TypeScript, C#, Java, Go or similar
• Strong backend proficiency, ideally with Node.js and Express.js
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Svelte, Angular, Vue)
• Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Production observability and monitoring (logging, metrics, tracing) and familiarity with CI/CD and Docker

You're an experienced fullstack engineer who has worked effectively within teams and takes pride in delivering real value, not just shipping code. You thrive in a collaborative environment and aren't afraid to take ownership. You value simplicity, clean code and real impact. You enjoy working across the stack, are comfortable making sound technical decisions within an established architecture and take pride in delivering high quality solutions.

We're looking for someone who has:
