Job summary

Encube Technologies AB, based in Sweden, is seeking a Frontend Engineer who loves solving complex UI challenges with the end user in mind. You’ll shape our frontend architecture, drive performance at scale, and deliver delightful, accessible experiences for collaborative 3D workflows.

You’ll work with React, Next.js, TypeScript and modern tooling to ship high-quality interfaces, coordinate with design and product, and own parts of the frontend stack from concept to production.

At Encube, we're building a cutting-edge visual collaboration platform where hardware teams come together to explore designs, share insights and shape ideas to invent better products faster where 3D is at the center.

We're looking for a Frontend Engineer who loves solving complex technical challenges with the end-user in mind. This is a high-impact, high-agency role where you'll shape our frontend architecture, ensure our platform performs at scale, and help the team iterate quickly without compromising quality, reliability or security.

We look for engineers who think in products, not just systems. People who take ownership, drive clarity when it's missing, and who create lift rather than drag. In return, you'll work in a tight-knit product engineering team at the top of their game, building product that really matters.

What you'll do

You'll build high-performance, visually refined user experiences for collaborative 3D workflows. This includes:

• Building core product interfaces using React, Nextjs, and TypeScript
• Developing reusable components and accessible UI systems using shadcn and Radix
• Implementing real-time collaboration features over WebSockets
• Working closely with design and product to create intuitive, responsive interfaces
• Optimizing rendering performance, asset loading, and perceived latency
• React, Nextjs, TypeScript, Three.js, React Three Fiber, shadcn/ui, Radix UI, Tailwind
• WebSockets for real-time updates
• Testing with Vitest and Playwright
• CI/CD via GitHub Actions
