Job summary

Validio is seeking a Design Engineer on the frontend team to shape our core user experience. You will work closely with the Lead Frontend Engineer and Head of Product to craft fast, lightweight interfaces and strong architecture using the web platform.

You will evolve the lineage graph, own the data quality experience, and streamline incident response and alerting across multiple channels. A strong product sense and TypeScript expertise are essential to deliver a cohesive UX across UI, GraphQL

Qualifications

• Strong product sense and a focus on how the product feels to use.
• Proficient in TypeScript and DOM fundamentals with web platform focus.
• Strong SQL for large datasets and understanding query costs.
• Ability to guide architecture with AI tools while owning the overall design.
• Comfort working across UI, GraphQL API, and underlying data layers.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the high-scale lineage graph to keep rendering fast and scalable.
• Own the data quality experience, including metrics and layouts for checks.
• Turn incident response into a coherent, systematic workflow.
• Simplify alerting configuration across Slack, Teams, Jira, email, ServiceNow, and webhooks.
