Job summary

Predli AB is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to help shape the future of Predli and applied AI. You will work closely with clients to translate their AI ambitions into production-ready systems that deliver real business value.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations. You'll move between client environments and our product, designing scalable AI solutions, APIs, and data pipelines, and contributing to Predli Studio.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with a solid understanding of core ML principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI solutions that create real business value by applying pre-trained models in new and practical ways, especially within language models.
• Build and extend features in Predli Studio that enable teams to use AI in their daily work.
• Develop scalable APIs, backend services, and data pipelines for production AI systems.
• Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with clients and non-technical stakeholders to turn ideas into working solutions.
• Explore new AI tools and frameworks through internal projects and bring the most useful ones into production.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and code reviews to strengthen how we build as a team.

We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who wants to help shape the future of Predli and applied AI. You'll work closely with our clients and help turn their AI ambitions into systems that hold up in production.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and day-to-day operations. You'll spend time understanding how work actually gets done, where the friction is, and how AI can improve it - then build solutions that fit into that reality.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll move between client environments and our product.

You'll work with client teams to understand workflows and constraints, design solutions that fit their context, and ship systems people rely on. What you learn feeds directly into Predli Studio - improving the platform for the next deployment.

Some weeks are prototype-heavy. Others are about hardening systems for production. Often, it's both. You'll move quickly, learn as you go, and see the results of your work in use.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

• A curious, hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and turning ideas into working solutions.
• Comfortable taking initiative and owning your work from start to finish.
• Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hold a degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with a solid understanding of core ML principles.
• Skilled in Python or TypeScript and familiar with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
• Experienced with databases, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Familiar with MLOps concepts, automation, and cloud environments.
• Enjoy working in a small team where collaboration and iteration are part of daily work.
• Open, communicative, and willing to both learn from and share knowledge with others.
• Based in Stockholm and fluent in English.
