Job summary

Harding+ seeks a Jewellery Host to bring SEVEN to life at sea, leading guest engagement and delivering the onboard SEVEN fine jewellery programme on cruise ships worldwide.

You’ll host seminars, connect design and provenance to guests’ stories, and drive traffic, appointments and sales through an engaging, event-led approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in cruise-line or luxury retail, preferably fine jewellery or high-value sales and events.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for seminars and events.
• Exceptional storytelling and product-romancing ability with jewellery knowledge.
• Proven luxury sales and clienteling skills, including relationship building and closing.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to use performance data to prioritise activity.
• Excellent spoken and written English in a professional environment.
• Resilience, adaptability and ownership in a fast-paced, international setting.

Responsibilities

• Host seminars and presentations from intimate moments to theatre settings to drive interest in the boutique.
• Romance the product by connecting design, craftsmanship and gemstones to guests' stories.
• Generate guest traffic through ship events, VIP invitations, cabin drops and referrals.
• Identify high-potential guests, secure appointments and craft personalised experiences.
• Collaborate with sales teams to convert engagement into sales with a pressure-free approach.
• Plan and run voyage event programs end-to-end including lead capture and follow-up.
• Share storytelling and product knowledge with the broader team to build credibility.

We're looking for a Jewellery Host to lead guest engagement and deliver our onboard SEVEN fine jewellery programme on cruise ships around the world.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who already knows high-end retail and wants to step into a brand-facing, event-led role. As the public face of SEVEN, you'll create excitement around our collections, host seminars and events, build appointments and relationships with high-potential guests, and turn that engagement into fine jewellery sales. You'll live and work at sea as part of a close-knit retail team, meeting guests from across the world and setting the standard for how SEVEN is experienced onboard.

What you'll do

As the SEVEN Host, you'll own the day-to-day delivery of the SEVEN voyage programme and be the person who makes the brand come alive onboard.

• Host seminars and presentations, from intimate in-store moments to larger theatre settings, using storytelling and showmanship to create desire and draw guests into the boutique
• Romance the product by connecting its design, craftsmanship, gemstones, provenance and meaning to each guest's own story, celebration or aspiration
• Generate guest traffic through ship events, VIP invitations, cabin drops, raffles, referrals and networking across the ship
• Identify and qualify high-potential guests, secure appointments and prepare personalised experiences that feel special from first welcome to follow-up
• Work alongside the sales team, Retail Manager and Fine Jewellery Sales Coach to convert engagement into sales, closing confidently while keeping the experience pressure-free
• Plan and run the voyage event programme end to end, from promotion and preparation through to lead capture and follow-up
• Track performance against targets, review what's working and adjust your plan to make the most of every commercial opportunity
• Share your storytelling and product knowledge with the wider team, helping colleagues build confidence and credibility with guests

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who can carry a brand, hold an audience and sell at a high level.

• At least two years in cruise-line or luxury retail, ideally Fine Jewellery, or equivalent high-value luxury sales and event-hosting experience
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, comfortable hosting seminars, events and theatre presentations
• Exceptional storytelling and product-romancing ability, with strong Fine Jewellery, diamond and gemstone knowledge, or the ability to pick it up quickly
• Proven luxury sales and clienteling skills, including relationship building, objection handling and closing
• Strong commercial judgement, and the confidence to use performance information to prioritise activity and improve results
• Excellent spoken and written English, with confident, professional communication
• Resilience, adaptability and ownership in a fast-paced, international environment
