Job summary

KPMG Ab is seeking a driven Associate to join the Deal Advisory team in Malmö or Gothenburg. The role focuses on Financial Due Diligence, analyzing target company data and cash-flow cycles to inform valuation and negotiation.

You will contribute to M&A advisory and valuation projects, with mentorship and rapid professional growth in a global firm. Start dates August 2026 or January 2027, local Swedish office environment.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Business, Engineering, Finance, or similar.
• Fluency in Swedish and English is required.
• 0–3 years of work experience within audit, accounting, business controlling or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is expected.

Responsibilities

• As an Associate focused on Financial Due Diligence, analyze target company data to identify key drivers of historical performance and cash-flow.
• Challenge assumptions about future performance and uncover potential liabilities and risks that could influence valuation and negotiation.
• Work on projects within M&A advisory and valuation services.
