SomnoMed Nordic in Stockholm is seeking a part-time Financial Accountant (60%) for a 10-month temporary position. You will support the accounting department with finance operations, reporting, and treasury activities in a globally active company.

The role requires a degree in business or accounting, 3–4 years of relevant experience, strong Excel and data handling skills, and fluency in Swedish and English. A collaborative, team-oriented approach is essential.

Responsabilités

• Finance Operations and Reporting: Maintain accounts, AP, AR, bank payments and reconciliations; support reporting and analysis.
• Financial Control: Ensure provisions, timely payments, depreciation, stocks and assets; monitor cash flow.
• Treasury: Collaborate to manage cash availability and forecasts.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Use ERP/BI tools for modeling, KPIs and budget tracking.

Overview

Financial Accountant (60%) – Temporary position for 10 months (m/f/d). Based in Stockholm, Sweden. SomnoMed Nordic is seeking a part-time Financial Accountant to support the accounting department for a temporary replacement of 10 months.

SomnoMed is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of medical devices for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea using oral appliances. The company operates internationally and serves patients worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Finance Operations and Reporting: Maintain accuracy of accounts (Bookkeeping: A/P, A/R, bank payments, and bank reconciliations); ensure invoices are properly approved and coded in the general ledger; contribute to financial reporting and analysis; manage expenses process, control, and payment.
• Financial Control: Ensure provisions are accrued and justified, payments and bank reconciliations are timely; manage A/R, A/P, depreciation, stocks, assets, etc.; monitor cash flow and balance cash movements.
• Treasury: Collaborate with Finance and Location Manager to manage cash availability and forecast needs at country level.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Use ERP and BI tools to support departments with financial modeling and analysis, create and assess KPIs and projects; participate in budget tracking; assess CAPEX and OPEX requests; develop and maintain analysis tools for decision making.
