Job summary

Svenska Handelsbanken AB is seeking a Financial Developer within the Derivatives and Risk Systems Division. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performing financial solutions integrated with Front Arena Prime for accounting and payments.

You will work in an agile team, collaborating with traders, risk, and compliance to deliver robust infrastructure and efficient processes. A degree in computer science and experience in finance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in software development within the financial domain.
• Proficiency in Python or C# and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with accounting and payment systems or solutions.
• Strong knowledge of database management, especially Microsoft SQL.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain systems supporting critical financial processes.
• Contribute to the infrastructure around accounting and payments integrated with Front Arena Prime.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from analysis to documentation and testing.
• Provide hands-on support in daily operations and ensure high attention to detail.
