Job summary

Nevita is seeking an Inspection Engineer to support a major industrial client in a refinery environment. Based on-site in Nynäshamn, you will work full-time as part of the client’s organization while Nevita remains your employer.

The role blends field inspections with documentation, reporting, and follow-up activities. You will inspect pressure equipment, piping, tanks, heat exchangers, and related assets, with potential travel within Sweden and occasionally to the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 3–5 years of experience in inspection in heavy process industries (oil & gas, refinery).
• Experience with pressure equipment, piping, tanks, and related assets.
• Familiarity with PED/AFS regulations; NDT certification is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspection activities and support at other locations as required.
• Carry out visual inspections and, when qualified, NDT activities.
• Support inspections during shutdowns and maintenance campaigns.
