Job summary

TSMG is seeking Pedestrians/Surveyors to perform field data collection across Europe. You will walk through designated areas while a backpack-mounted camera films the surroundings, assisting online mapping enhancements.

We provide paid training, travel and data plan coverage, all necessary equipment, and a letter of recommendation. English fluency, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, at least B1+ is required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail is important for accurate data collection.
• Good physical shape with daily walking 5–6 hours.
• Must be eligible for travel and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Walk assigned locations to allow the camera to film the surroundings within frames.
• Operate and manage the backpack-mounted camera system during data collection.
• Represent the company professionally during fieldwork and training sessions.

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in 2017 in Europe. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.

Project description:

The goal of the project is to collect visual and geo data for online mapping applications improvements.

The Task:

We are looking for a team of pedestrians/surveyors in some of the European countries. People will be provided with a special backpack with a camera mounted on the top. The mail task will be to walk from location to location within the frames of the assigned area to let the camera film the surroundings.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, from 6 to 8 hours/day.

Requirements:

• Good physical shape (:5-6 hours of walking every day)
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to details.
• Fluent English (at least B1+)
• Drivers licence.
• Must be eligible for travels
• Experience in the data collection field is a big advantage but not required
