Job summary

OSTTRA in Stockholm is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to the Trade Lifecycle division. You will help design and evolve the system architecture, mentor colleagues, and ensure the health of our platform used by a global customer base.

The role requires strong technical leadership, the ability to drive large initiatives independently, and a willingness to work from the office at least three days per week.

The development team is based in Stockholm. It consists of highly skilled and helpful individuals with diverse backgrounds, each engineer playing a unique part in serving our global customer base. Our products within the Trade Lifecycle division cover many of these areas, such as portfolio reconciliation, risk calculations, collateral management, and settlement automation. Improving these systems has a real impact on reducing the systemic risk of the global financial market while boosting operational efficiency and producing cost savings for many of the largest banks in the world.

As an experienced software engineer, you are responsible for:

• Actively contribute to the development and architecture of the system to meet new and changing business needs
• Design and evaluate new architecture principles
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve our tools and our ways of working
• Be part of the team taking care of the overall system health
• Mentoring of colleagues
• Represent the team in company-wide initiative

What we're looking for:

• More than 10 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive bigger initiatives independently and with the team
• An aptitude and willingness to improve yourself, others around you, and our ways of working
• Someone who will work from the office at least 3 days per week
