Job summary

SEB in Stockholm seeks an experienced Electronic Execution Sales Trader to join the front office within Equities. You will manage client order flow and collaborate with clients across global markets to deliver high-quality electronic execution.

The role focuses on client contact, electronic sales, and trading, with cross-functional collaboration to grow the electronic execution offering and client base.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic trading or related markets role at an investment bank, hedge fund, retail brokerage or institutional buy-side firm.
• Strong understanding of equities trading, algorithmic trading and market microstructure.
• Established network with European equities clients, asset managers, hedge funds and retail brokers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Manage client order flow across algorithmic, DMA, and program trading channels.
• Act as a primary contact for clients on execution quality, algo performance, and market microstructure questions.
• Collaborate with quantitative and technology teams to refine algo strategies and trading tools.
• Flag anomalies, liquidity events, and execution issues in real time.
• Contribute to best execution, market structure changes, and regulatory requirements (MiFID II/MiFIR, SSR).
• Collaborate with Sales, Prime Finance, Product and Technology to capture new market opportunities.
• Pursue new client opportunities and contribute to growth in client income.
