Job summary

Sigma Industry in Västerås, Sweden, seeks an Electronics Hardware Developer to design analog and digital circuits, taking concepts through serial production for ABB’s lines. You will coordinate with product management and factories to deliver robust hardware solutions.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor in Electronic Engineering or embedded systems with at least 2 years of industry hardware experience, strong circuit design and simulation skills, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in Electronic Engineering or embedded systems.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial electronics hardware development experience.
• Strong circuit design and schematic skills with simulation experience.
• EMC design knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with high voltage up to 1 kV is advantageous.
• Willing to travel internationally (~5%).
• Fluent English; Swedish not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement analog and digital circuits from concept to serial production.
• Create schematics and PCB layout constraints; verify with simulations and prototypes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams (product management & factory).
• Document and handover developed technologies to ABB’s factories.
