Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Europe is seeking an Embedded Developer to design and implement software for an Embedded Linux platform built with Yocto. In this role, you will work on IoT and assistance systems, developing containerized applications while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded systems and Linux (Yocto).
• Programming in C and C++, proficiency in Python is a plus.

We are currently seeking an Embedded Developer to join our R&D team at Toyota Material Handling Europe. The Embedded Developer will design and implement software for our future Embedded Linux platform built with Yocto, develop and distribute containerized applications, and maintain our current connectivity platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for IoT and assistance systems using Yocto, C, C++, and Python.
• Implement and monitor software on customer vehicles and finalize product lifecycle.
• Develop containerized applications and maintain connectivity platform.
• Take initiative in architectural and technological decisions and collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded systems, Linux (Yocto) and programming in C and C++.
• Experience with Python and CAN is a plus.
• Good English language skills; proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, independence, and a sense of responsibility to deliver high‑quality products.
