Job summary

Sigma Industry Innovation AB is seeking experienced Android Platform Engineers in Gothenburg, Sweden to develop smart, connected products. You will be involved end-to-end in customizing and developing the Android platform at the system level, overseeing architecture and optimization.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience with strong skills in C/C++, Java/Kotlin, and Linux. You will work on projects ranging from infotainment systems to IoT solutions, ensuring high quality through testing and collaboration within agile teams.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in Android platform development (AOSP).
• Strong skills in C/C++ and/or Java/Kotlin.
• Experience with Linux and embedded development.
• Knowledge of system architecture and software design.
• Experience with Git, Gerrit, and CI/CD.
• Fluency in English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customize and develop the Android platform (AOSP).
• Work with HAL, Linux kernel, and system integration.
• Drive architecture and design decisions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the full stack.
• Ensure high quality through testing and code reviews.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams in agile environments.
