Job summary

Stegra Boden AB is seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to lead our Energy & Power Distribution team within Mill Services. You will report to the Head of Energy & Power Distribution and oversee electrical operations, maintenance, and safety across production facilities.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Power Engineering, HV authorization eligibility, and 3+ years in a similar position. Strong SCADA knowledge and English proficiency are essential; Swedish language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering or related field.
• Valid Auktorisation A (Swedish High Voltage Authorization) or eligible to obtain it.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
• Deep expertise in electrical distribution systems across LV, MV, and HV networks.
• Strong background in electrical operations management with knowledge of Swedish safety legislation and EU directives.
• Proven ability to manage contractors and oversee on-site electrical safety responsibilities.
• Experience with SCADA systems and protective, control, and measurement functions.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Swedish knowledge is a plus.

Right now, we are looking for a Electrical Operations Manager for our Energy & Power Distribution team. In this role you will report to our Head of Energy & Power Distribution and sit within our Mill Services function.

Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well.

• Lead and support a team of electricians, providing daily guidance, coaching, and ensuring proper training and qualifications.


• Act as the authorized supervisor of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with electrical safety legislation and internal standards.


• Oversee operations, maintenance, and inspections to guarantee safe, reliable, and continuous power supply for production.


• Drive improvements in efficiency, reliability, and maintenance processes through failure analysis, corrective actions, and cost optimization.


• Manage external service providers and stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and up-to-date technical records.
