Job summary

Aira, headquartered in Helsingborg, Sweden, is expanding its product development team and seeks an Electrical Engineer to shape the next generation of intelligent heat pumps and home energy systems.

You’ll own full development cycles from concept to manufacturing support, designing electrical and electromechanical solutions, with emphasis on 2D/3D CAD, wire harnesses, and rigorous documentation. Join a fast-scaling startup on a mission to make sustainable living accessible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product development for electrical or mechanical design.
• Experienced with 2D/3D CAD tools for electrical connections and cable routing.
• Familiar with EN60335-1, RED, EMC directives and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical assemblies and BOMs for heat pumps.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings; utilize PLM tools.
• Design internal wire harnesses and schematics.
• Contribute to installation materials design.
• Participate in project meetings and report progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and standards.
• Explore materials like plastics and sheet metal for quality and reliability.
