Are you passionate about high-voltage technology and eager to contribute to the future of electrification? We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer who wants to work with cutting‑edge HVDC/MVDC solutions in an innovative and international environment!

About the Position

Our client is an international technology company developing innovative safety and energy solutions for the electrified society of the future. To meet the growing demand within high‑voltage applications, they are now strengthening their organization with an Electrical Design Engineer.

In this role, you will become part of a growing engineering team working with advanced high‑voltage applications designed to protect systems used for the generation, storage, and conversion of electrical energy. These solutions are applied in areas such as power transmission, converter stations, and energy storage systems across both medium‑ and high‑voltage environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing electrical solutions for high-voltage systems and switchgear.
  • Planning and conducting high-voltage testing and verification in a laboratory environment.
  • Contributing to the development of fast-acting switching solutions for advanced energy systems.
  • Ensuring that products and solutions comply with relevant standards and safety requirements.
  • Supporting product development through simulations, testing, and design reviews.
  • Contributing to the technical development and future strategy within the field of electrical safety solutions.
We're Looking for Someone Who
  • Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • Has an interest in high‑voltage systems, power electronics, or energy‑related applications.
  • Takes a structured and curious approach to problem‑solving.
  • Possesses strong communication skills and enjoys collaborating with others.

Previous experience within the field is considered an advantage but is not required. Our client values drive, learning potential, and motivation just as highly as prior professional experience. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, and to thrive in this role, we believe you are curious, positive, and driven.
