Job summary

Sungrow Europe is seeking an EHS Engineer - Nordics to lead documentation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of safety and environmental practices. You will review, update, and coordinate EHS documents, and work with managers to ensure current standards are reflected across the Nordic region.

The role requires strong knowledge of EHS regulations in Sweden, electrical authorization, and fluency in Swedish and English (Finnish a plus).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering).
  • Proven experience in document development and management in Sweden.
  • Electrical authorization held or eligible for validation in Finland.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations for Sweden; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Review, update and manage EHS documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Stay current with local regulations and best practices; update documents accordingly.
  • Collaborate with service managers and staff to gather information for reflect current safety practices.
  • Collect and analyse EHS data to identify trends and improvements; translate findings into updates.
  • Generate reports on EHS compliance and performance for management.
  • Create or update training materials; coordinate audits.
  • Assist with emergency response plans and procedures; support process management.

Your mission

  • Document Review: Regularly review existing EHS documentation to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices, and update documents accordingly to maintain compliance.
  • Communication: Collaborate with service managers and employees to gather information and feedback, ensuring that documents reflect the most current safety and environmental practices.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse EHS data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and translate findings into actionable document updates.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on EHS document compliance and performance, presenting findings to management.
  • Create/update training material.
  • Perform/coordinate audits.
  • Process management.
  • Manage emergency response plans and procedures.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field e.g., Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in document development and management, especially in an Health & Safety / Occupational Safety in Sweden or regulatory context.
  • Have electrical authorization.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices for Sweden.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Certification in EHS-related disciplines.
  • The right to work in Sweden.
  • Possibility to validate electrical authorization in Finland would be a plus.
  • Ability to act as a compliance manager in Finland would be a big plus.
  • Swedish and English at C1 is a must; Finnish would be a plus.
