Job summary

Capgemini AB is looking for an experienced E2E Telco Architect to lead the design and delivery of telecom architectures across multi-domain networks. You will utilize your expertise in 4G/5G Packet Core architecture and IMS to create scalable, secure solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate should possess at least 10 years of telecom experience and a degree in Telecommunications or Electronics. This role also requires Swedish citizenship and may involve background checks.

Job description

Your role

As an E2E Telco Architect at Capgemini Engineering, you will lead the design and delivery of advanced telecom architectures across multi‑domain networks. Leveraging your expertise within Packet Core and IMS, you will create scalable, high‑performing, and secure solutions while working closely with customers and cross‑functional teams.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Designing and defining end‑to‑end telecom architecture covering 4G EPC, 5G Core (NSA/SA), IMS (VoLTE/VoNR), and MCX applications
• Leading solution architecture across Core, RAN, Transport, NFVI/Cloud, and OSS domains
• Driving Packet Core and IMS design, including components such as AMF/MME, SMF, UPF, PCF, UDM, P-/S‑CSCF, TAS, HSS
• Ensuring end‑to‑end integration, service validation, and performance optimisation, including QoS frameworks (QCI/5QI)
• Engaging with customers to translate requirements into solution blueprints, HLDs and LLDs, and providing technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle

Your profile

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field
• 10+ years of telecom experience with relevant architecture exposure
• Strong experience in 4G/5G Packet Core architecture and related protocols; hands‑on knowledge of IMS/VoLTE/VoNR architecture and signalling (SIP, Diameter)
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end telecom networks (Core, RAN, IP Transport, Security)
• Experience working with virtualization, SDN/NFV, and cloud‑native telco environments
• Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are advantageous
