Job summary

Vattenfall GmbH is looking for a Business-Facing Solution Architect based in Sweden. This role involves guiding strategic projects, consulting on IT and data strategy, and supporting IT security within the Distribution business area. Ideal candidates will be seasoned architects with experience in utilities or manufacturing, and fluency in both Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• Seasoned architect with experience in utilities, manufacturing, or automotive.
• A degree in IT or related field.
• Experience in an international environment; fluency in Swedish and English.
• Deep IT architecture knowledge; experience with frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Knowledge of security standards such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Ability to produce executive-level architecture documents and translate complex problems into concise action.
• Comfortable communicating with both IT and non-IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Join strategic projects and guide them to execution with fit-for-purpose architecture.
• Consult and educate the Distribution business on IT, integration, and data strategy.
• Provide expertise in IT security and support Distribution’s adoption.
• Build domain knowledge to become the go-to point for Distribution IT advancement.
• Drive adoption of data mesh in dialogue with business.
• Establish architecture standards and principles and act as a trusted advisor.
